Title: Bridging to Invision Power Board
Post by: alanpalan on October 24, 2007, 05:55:51 PM
Hi, I tried to bridge Coppermine to Invision Power Board. It works, but when registering/logging into the gallery you will end up at the forum. I don't want this. What I want is when registering/logging into the gallery you start of directly at the gallery (and only then - if you want - you can subsequently enter the forum). You know what I mean?

Bridge system doesn't works that way
Actually when you bridge Coppermine to another APP then all user authentication goes to APP side instead of Coppermine that's why you referred to IPB login BTW it will redirect you to Coppermine after successful login

All-right. Thanks for answer. One more question - is it possible to integrate some application (bulletin board) into the Coppermine? I mean like this?
[Edit GauGau] Replaced hotlinked image with attachment [/Edit]
If it can be done, is there some how to article for it? :)

Technically possible if you code it, using an iframe. Not recommended though. Instead: create a theme that matches the layout of your forum and add links to coppermine's menu that sends your users to the forum and vice versa. There's no instructions available to do what you're up to.
We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect. Closing.
