Title: Multiple Coppermine installations on a single domain
Post by: Candy-Arts on October 25, 2007, 12:08:25 AM
Good Day,

I need help please,

I am making a new website for a group of artists and they want, each to have his own coppermine gallery with individual backoffice access.  I have installed 3 galleries but only the first installed gallery works, the other two I can only see a white screen.  I have never before installed multiple coppermine galleries on a single domain and I am unaware of the procedures.

I have been searching in the forum for hours but I could not locate any instructions of what the procedures must be. There are some topics that refer to a 'bridge manager' but I do not know if it must be installed in all galleries or in just one, nor do I know how this is done.  Must I upload to the linux server, the 'cpg1.4.x_plug' content into the plugin folder in all the coppermine gallery installations or must it be in just one?  And how do I link all the galleries? Can I have just one access point for all the artists to login?  Or are there other ways or procedures or even alternatives to achieve the aim?

The 3 installed galleries are, in number order:  5, 6 and 15 of the above link
The only one that is currently working is gallery 15 -> Salvação Barreto ->  http://www.arte-gap.com/salbarreto/index.php

Your help is much appreciated, thank you

You should copy classic theme to themes folder for all other not working galleries

You are absolutely right, I shouldn't have removed default theme before configuring the new theme.  They are now showing well, thank you.

I have another question, I need to know if it is possible to join all the login of the different galleries, to only one access login point at the top of the website page, having 2 lines for login, username and password.  Is there a way of doing this, and how must I do this?

Thank you for your help, I do appreciate very much.
