Hi i have searched and found some threads on changing category display in themes.php BUT that would affect all categories. I have one category called "Archives" that i move old alblums to. It displays on my front page BUT i dont want it show the alblums underneath it. Is there a way to just list the category and not the alblums for a specific category? thanks.

ouch, i noticed the user galleries never show the alblums, i was going to ask if that could be turned on, but instead maybe i can use the code that makes user galleries not show albums and use that code for my archive category. could you point me in the right direction of what code i should be looking for/at?
What do you guys normally recommend to people with lots of galleries. there is no archive feature right? what is one to do with old gallieries they dont want deleted. is there a better way to hide them>?
