Title: Bridging Stopped
Post by: TexAcoon on November 22, 2007, 09:32:35 PM
Coppermine use to working like a champ during integration and now stopped.  Recently my host server address was changed to a new address due to upgrading their system.  When this happened I had a few recovery problems with my programing it finally came back on-line.  For some reason my integration between Phpbb to Coppermine no longer works.  Matter of fact I have tried going directly to the index page and still get rejected back to my home PHPBB index page.

I have tried to accessing cpg1410/admin.php giving an Error You don't have permission to access this page.
THEN
Tried accessing /cpg1410/bridgemgr.php requiring me to add my username and password.  Apparently it does not recognize either of the two, not allowing me to verify my bridging.

Not sure what my next step is and sure could use someones help...

Thanks!

Search the board for how to retrieve a lost admin password and then redo the bridge.

Test account does not work.

Thanks for the quick reply Nibbler..
I looked up the info..  gave it a try and with no luck could not get into my admin through phpmyadmin.

SO I did the next best thing:
1) Downloaded the latest Coppermine and uploaded it to my web site
2) Did the upgrade - changes did not keep the same categories or albums.
3) PHPMYADMIN shows uploaded images still retained to the database

Now I am trying to figure out what I need to do in order for my categories for the albums and photos to show back up.

Most likely I made more of a mess out of this than I needed to..  Hopefully I will be able to fix it per your instructions.

Thanks

If you lost albums and categories when updating then you did it wrong. Post your issues upgrading on the upgrading support board.
