Hi there,
I'm trying to setup a gallery for a friend of mine. They need public and private galleries. I've created a private gallery which is not viewable by guest or unregistered users. I've created a username/password which belongs to new group (Friends & Family) and I've edited the album properties to allow 'members of Family & Friends' to view it... but it doesn't work.
The only time I can see the album is if I login as admin. I've tried using primary "Friends & Family" and secondary "Registered" groups as well, and ensured that the album config enables viewing by both groups, but it still doesn't make any difference.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please? Thanks.

Oops. I forgot to mention that I'm using CPG 1.4.13, installed on a Linux/Apache co-lo hosted solution.
Please post a link and test account, debug mode enabled if possible.
Eh, you might have to explain that a bit more please; I'm new here :)
What sort of permissions/rights do you want for a test account?
how do I switch debug mode on?
The link to the gallery is http://www.balcultrystables.com/gallery
What I'm trying to do is setup access to the album called "Vietnam" in the "Private" category for only registered users who are in the "Family & Friends" group.
Can anyone help me resolve this please?
Create a regular (non-admin) account in Coppermine and post the login and password here. It should be in whatever group it needs to be to see your issue. Debug mode is a config setting (set via the admin page), check the manual for details on config settings.
debug mode set for all.

I'm trying to enable this user to see the 'vietnam' album as a member of the 'family & friends' group.
It's a password protected album. Allow the album icon to be displayed by enabling 'Show private album Icon to unlogged user' in config.
Thank you:)
