Is there a way to make an album 'invisible' if it is actually empty? And it will become visible when there are images in it?

I think your wishe had no sens !
You need to create an Album when you want to put something inside it ! Not before with nothing in it for a long time ;D

Are you your Gallery's Admin ?

true, but with that, if you have albums categorized for users to upload into, then you would have empty albums until uploads go into them, correct?
