how can i tell this ?
i have some staff and because my site is damn huge and the pictures diverse i can only observe the db growing ..i need to know how many pics have descriptions and titles

Something like

SELECT COUNT(*) from yourTablePrefix_pictures WHERE caption='';or similar should do the trick.
