Title: New and trying to add alot of files
Post by: KDB9000 on December 27, 2007, 01:57:35 AM
Hello, I am new to the board and Coppermine Photo Gallery in general, so sorry if I am in the wrong area. I have a lot of files I want to upload to my site. I know how to use the batch file upload, that isn't my problem. The problem is I need to create an album for each set (there are a lot of them). Is there some kind of system that can create a lot of albums at once? Or is there a plug in that can take the file name and use that as the album and then add the pics that are in that folder into the album? Thank you for the help.

Plugin conversion of timer.php called CPGMassImport. (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=27566.0)

Umm, is it also possible to have the album use the first picture in the album and not the last uploaded as the display pic?

Not out of the box. You'll have to use the album properties screen and set the first image as album thumbnail.

Where is the code stored that will set the image to the last uploaded? Because I would have to do this for almost 100 albums, I might be able to modify the code to do what I want.
