"Notify admin of user registration by email" option is working.
I have other applications that send email without a problem.
I thing cpg1414 has a problem.

Thanks.
nibblertest - I received an email from my application with the below statement. Did you receive a verification email from my application? If you did not, the application is broke.
"A new user with the username "nibblertest" has registered in your gallery"
It's probably a problem with the setup of the mail server. Coppermine doesn't send the email itself, it just tells your server to send it. You can tell by the short delay when registering that Coppermine has tried to send the email, and the message indicates that Coppermine was told the message was sent. If you register using an email account @golopo.com does that work?
I used the email address golopo@golopo.com as the registration address and I Did Not receive a verification email.
I did receive an email that a user had registered.
I have gallery2 installed and just to make sure, I registered and received an email that a user had registered and it sent a verification message to the new user.
I think you have a problem with the code that is responsible for the verification email. You are the expert :), I could be wrong. Thanks. - Golopo
I have same problem anyone help me with this problem
1 User registration requires email verification - set Yes - not working
2 Notify admin of user registration by email - set Yes - working
3 Admin activation of registrations - set Yes - working
when
3 admin activation is set NO - working (1) email verification
but I need working together if possible
so I forgot version of CPG is 1.4.18 (stable)
As suggested above: this is a matter of server setup. We can hardly help you with that. As you didn't even provide a link to your gallery, there's absolutely nothing that we could say, as we're not mind readers. Finally, it's not a bright idea to hijack someone else's thread, as your issue may or may not be identical to the issue of the initial thread starter. Locking.
