Hello,
I updated my gallery to 1.4.14 and ran a version check. Have an issue
Mandatory files missing: 3
albums/edit/no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder!
albums/userpics/index.php
albums/userpics/no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder!
Files left over from outdated Coppermine version: 1
anycontent.php
Please advise.
It's safe to ignore all those warnings. If it bothers you, upload the missing files. Of course anycontent.php is outdated - you followed instructions and did not overwrite that file, so it's a leftover from your previous version. That's fine.
Has been asked quite often though...
I tried to find similar topic not to bother, but it was hard to locate.
Couple questions:
1. If I was to upload those missing files, where would I find them ?
2. Will that interfere with FTP uploading that I might do into 'userpics' folder ?
1. They are in the Coppermine package you downloaded.
2. You don't FTP upload into the userpics folder anyway, so the question is not valid.
Just ignore it.
I'll ignore it then. Thank's.
Just a quick followup question. I am in the same boat. I upgraded from 1.3.2 to 1.4.16, ran the version checker, and got the same 'missing and outdated files' results. Before I saw this post, I uploaded the 'missing ones' (which I now see is unnecessary), but am afriad to update my previous 'anycontent.php' file. I followed the instructions to NOT do so because I don't want to risk loosing my database of pictures. Should I just leave it outdated as mentioned here despite the warning of the version checker? Is there any risk in updating it, such as loosing the link with my database? Thanks!

Good. Now that I know what it does (and I have no customizing on the index page, just to my theme), I see it doesn't matter, so I updated it anyway. Thanks much!!
