I want a short one line description on the thumbnail,
with a link to the other page with larger pic and longer description.
I have discovered that my second description (custom field) only shows up if I enable the Info area.
But I dont want all that extra stuff about the file. I just want a second longer description to show up when you open the larger picture.
I looked at the displayimage.php template
I can see some of the stuff that generates the info area data.
Was thinking of commenting it out
but I cant see what to leave alone so my custom description box still shows up.
The custom description box cuts off text and I cant see how to make it bigger. You can enlarge the first description box but then it distorts the thumbnail display page with long thin columns of text. Sigh.
Any ideas please?
Don't edit displayimage.php, but themes/yourtheme/theme.php
Posting a link to your gallery might help if you need details.
Also zip up your custom theme and attach it to your posting (using "additional options" when composing your message).
