For some reason, when I hit the album list icon in user mode I only get random files and last additions. The only way I'm able to see a list and thumbnail of each of my albums is when I'm in admin mode and hit 'my gallery'. Is there a way to display albums for non-admin users?
I've not set up any categories so under categories it just says user galleries, 40 albums, 5200 pictures.
I have looked through the demo documentation and hope I've not missed the fix on this.

Post a link to your gallery. Do you actually have any albums outside your user gallery?

You need to create public albums for them to be displayed on the main page.
Under permissions, most of these are marked as 'ablum can be viewed by everybody (public album). Is that what you are referring to?
You create public albums by going into the album manager and creating them in the *no category* section (since you have no categories) not the personal gallery section.
Is there a way to move them to the public gallery area?
click albums
go to no category and make an album there
that will be public
then goto groups and make guests allowed to see albums
that's all you need to do
Hi - yes, I understand for new albums how to make them public... but I have like 40 albums that are in my gallery. Can I move them?

There is no tool built into the coppermine user interface to allow you to move albums from the user gallery to a public gallery - you can only accomplish this by directly editing your database (using phpMyAdmin or similar). However, you can move the contents of the album (the pics you uploaded into it) by going to the edit pics dialog.
