Title: Query on intergration
Post by: arrogant-ppl-ere on January 14, 2008, 12:26:59 PM
I'm using PHP-NUKE which has phpbb2, using nukes database for login, intergrated into it.

ive just installed coppermine into nukes database with a different prefix obviously. is there a way to get coppermine to read php-nukes login/users table to allow existing members to login usin the php-nuke database? (ie: read from beats_nuke_users instead of beats_copp_users).
or will i need to bridge to PHP-NUKE site - if so, how? php-nuke is not an option in bridge manager.

phpBB 2.0.17.
PHP-NUKE 7.9

phpnuke goes unsupported (as in "no support at all"). The software we provide can not be used with phpnuke, no matter what BBS you have mashed up into your portal.

yes ive noticed php-nuke's support is non-existant. theres 1 or 2 willing to try and help on other nuke based sites.

unfortately for me though, around 15gig of content was added before i found this out!

was hoping there may have been a way for coppermine site to read only from the nuke_user table for login

You need it -> you code it.
Don't expect support from us. "Unsupported" means exactly what it says. Locking.
