i install gallery and phpbb3 bridge and i have one problem.
in some page i see gibberish:
[Edit GauGau] Replaced hotlinked image with attachment [/Edit]
the "????" are Hebrew characters, and it is the same in Hebrew or English.

Make sure you are using unicode in both CPG and PHPBB. The phpbb3 bridge is a mod and goes unsupported. Post your issues on the mod's thread.
As Nibbler suggested, the preliminary phpbb3 bridge is an unsupported, user-contributed bridge in beta stage. It goes unsupported. You're only allowed to post a valid test result and review the bridge. But you're not allowed to just ask for help there. Review the thread that discusses the phpbb3 bridge (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=43383.0) (read it entirely) and file your test report there.
The reason why the phpbb3 bridge goes unsupported by the coppermine devs is quite simple: it requires you to modify phpbb3 as well. "Our" bridges don't require you to do that. We're not fond of bridge files that make changes to the bridge app necessary.
