Split from http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=49768.0

You haven't done as suggested: the upload troubleshooting section of the docs that I have refered to in the thread that you originally tried to hijack clearly says that the number of file upload fields is suppossed to be set to 1 and the number of URI upload fields to 0. You haven't. Review your settings, then post your reply here after doing as suggested.

This is the error message I got when testing:
QuoteThe file 'albums/userpics/Beispiel.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.
Usually this error message indicates that there is something wrong permissions- wise. I suggest reviewing the permissions section of the docs and applying the permission changes mentioned there.
