Title: problem with batch add
Post by: huwb on March 18, 2008, 05:42:49 PM
I used to use 1.3.3 but was having issues with batch add, i was advised to upgrade to 1.4.14 and this would resolve the issue, but it has not. documentation show this

[Edit GauGau] Replaced hotlinked image with attachment [/Edit]

but I do not get the check boxes and img preview, all I get is the ok option, so I can not select pics and then upload them. when I click on OK it tells me that there are no new images selected, obviously this needs fixing somewhere, can someone please help me

Which means those files are already inserted.

1) Stop hotlinking screenshots - attach them instead
2) Do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs if you need support
3) Read the docs before asking questions

but the files are not because they are loaded directly to my ftp from my digital camera and have never been on the internet before, let alone on my copermine page

apologies for hotlinking screenshots
I have done exactly what it says in the docs, it states to search for the error message you are getting in the forums, thing is I am not getting an error message, it is stating no new files found, even though these are new files
I explained on another board here that I have uploaded another verision of coppermine in another directory and that is working fine, with batch upload and everything. Initially all I wanted to know if there was an easier way to transfer pics  from one version of coppermine, by changing a code or something in the config files for coppermine, but was advised to upgrade the old version and work on that instead, this I have done.

here is the debugging info that I get when trying to batch upload

Avoid spaces in your folder names.

thank you for the advice, I have changed the one folder that had a space in it but I still get an error.

Do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs. You did the opposite of what is suggested there and posted your debug_output.
