Hi I need a quick bit of advice please. I would like to insert the following code into Coppermine so's that visitors can have live support on the site. I'm blessed with more than my fair share of intellectually challenged visitors who seem to have difficulty completing the membership task.
Here is the code:
=><a href="http://picturepenzance.co.uk/support/client.php" target="_blank"><img src="http://picturepenzance.co.uk/support/statusimage.php">Url</a>
I would like this on the main page below the navigation. I need to know what php I should edit for this please. Should I be looking in the theme?
Regards,
Steff
Ok I used the multiple anycontent mod and placed the code in the anycontent. I wanted this to appear underneath the navigation so I tried to place the new anycontent1.php file in the The content of the main page area under config. But this anycontent1.php wouldn't work. So by renaming the anycontent to anycontent1 and then renaming anycontent1 to anycontent, I was able to achive the much needed support button under the navigation.
Plaese close this ticket.
Regards,
Steff
Stop messing around with anycontent - it's meant to be used for dynamic (PHP-driven) stuff. For your purposes, just edit themes/yourtheme/theme.php with a plain text editor and add that line of code.
Hmmm... i kinda have the same problem. There's a chunk of text i want to have displayed on the main page, but not on the other pages. If i modify theme.php i have the effect that the text is diplayed on any page... any way around that?
thanks,
Martin

Please do not hi-jack other member's threads, create a new thread for your question. I will answer your question though. The simplest way to do this would be to install this plugin http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,15543.0.html it will give you the ability to add text messages at the top of any page you specify, has been great and one of the reasons I use coppermine.
