Hi,
In version 1.4.10. Which file do I have look in to find where the following is set: '# files in # albums and # categories with # comments viewed # times'? I don't allow comments, and have removed all mention of them from the theme I use and would also like to remove 'with # comments' .
Thank you for your assistance.

In version 1.4.10.
Upgrade before looking into cosmetical issues.
I've already configured most everything to my liking and don't want to mess things up by upgrading. So, where do I remove the 'with # comments' text? Thank you.

If you think upgrading mess up "things to your liking", wait until a hacker gets ahold of it. Have you not seen all the threads regarding Coppermine 1.6.17, much less 1.6.10, and sites getting hacked? This isn't a remote possibility, it's something that's happened many galleries in the past week or two...
Upgrade!

Tim is right (but actual version is1.4.18 and not 1.6.17).
By upgrading, you don't lost your settings (they are stored in the database)
Ugrade is mandatory if don't want to be hacked...

Geez don't know where I got 1.6.x from. What I was trying to say was that even if you had 1.4.17 (much less 1.4.10) you'd have a good chance at getting hacked.

Okay, I upgraded. Actually, It was quite easy. I'll test more thoroughly when I get home tonight, but for now things seem to work fine.
So... now that I have version 1.4.18 up and running, in which file(s) do I remove the 'with # comments'?
Thank you.
check out all links within this thread. Especially the 'old one' may be the best solution for you (modifying the lang file)

Modifying the language file did the trick. Thank you. And I appologize for not doing a search of the forums before asking.
