Title: [Solved]: Missing Intermediates
Post by: MrWells on April 20, 2008, 11:28:13 AM
I'm posting here as I think this is related to the recent attack - please move if necessary.

In the gallery's I can see the thumbs and a button where the intermediate picture should be. Clicking it shows the full size pics.

in config...
QuoteCreate intermediate pictures = Yes
Max width or height of an intermediate picture/video = 600
I have tried rebuilding intermediates using "Update thumbs and/or resized photos" in admin tools. I get the following reports...

Quotealbums/userpics/10002/thumb_PKArnd2_0037.JPG updated succesfully !
ERROR creating : albums/userpics/10002/normal_PKArnd2_0037.JPG

Permissions for userpics is 777

I have run Delete Intermediates and get errors

QuoteThe file albums/userpics/10002/normal_PKArnd2_0009.JPG was not found

and then run "Update thumbs and/or resized photos" again still no joy.

-----------------------------------

QuoteThe file albums/userpics/10002/normal_PKArnd2_0009.JPG was not found

but The file albums/userpics/10002/PKArnd2_0009.JPG does exist!

Done that, but it made no difference.
However I think I have found the problem.

QuoteMethod for resizing images = Image Magick

I've changed this to GD version 2.x

It looks like the files are building now!  :)

If you don't have ImageMagic, set the method for resizing to GD2 (obviously).
