Hi I'm very new to this program. so any help would be appreciated.
I am admin on my coppermine account and have no problem uploading. One of my friends I set up as a user with full permissions and when she goes to upload she can't. I set up under a specific catagory a album. I also set up a catagory called user groups. she can upload in neither. In the album set I called it by her name but did not use her specific name, is that the problem? or what? also when anyone comes on coppermine thru my url they do not see anything that says to register or anything like that. is this right? How is that done?

What is the error she gets whe she trys to upload?
In fact you should read the docs, sections "upload troubleshooting" and "asking for support on upload issues" and doing exactly as suggested there. To test permissions, don't rely on your friend's input, but create a non-admin test user account with the same permissions your friend's account has.
