Title: Using Coppermine Authentication outside Coppermine

I have searched the forums and FAQ and have not found a way to use Coppermine's authentication outside of Coppermine. In the old version I used auth.inc.php but I can't find a version for CM 1.4.x Would I use CPMFetch for this, or is there a way built in to the new Coppermine? I appreciate any and all help; I'm sorry if this is documented somewhere and I missed it.

I've been exhaustively searching and still haven't come up with any info, does anyone have any suggestions? Can auth.inc.php from the earlier version be easily appended to work for cpg1.4??

Never heard of such a file, in no coppermine version ever.
