Hi folks,
I am coming fresh from reading Documentation and FAQ to find how to correctly delete ALL pictures (thumbs, intermediates, full size) and eventually I read this message: "If you really must remove the intermediate sized pics, search the mods and hacks board in the coppermine forum to learn how." So here I am asking for an advice :)
What would be the correct sequence of actions? I understand that this is to be done through Admin Tools. Shall I first delete Intermediates or Original size? Should I also delete file titles or anything else from the offered options? How about thumbnails? Do I delete them stright from my FTP client?
The guy who made watermarks, cocked it up so I have to remove everything but I don't anticipate reinstalling the CPG and want to avoid problems with MySQL tables.
Thank you.
Just delete the albums from within Coppermine. No need to go into admin tools.
Thanks Nibbler,
You're right as always ;D
Solved.
I said "Allez!" too soon. Unfortunately all my databases are gone >:( When I do any search, it just says the databases are corrupted.
I had to do it through Admin Tools. Now I have to reinstall everything!

You won't get any support unless you restore the "Powered by Coppermine" footer, see http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#copyright_additional_preservation
Argh, sorry... That was not me - there's this other guy ferretting around.
My first negative carma! I have always known you would give it to me eventually. Thank you also for "giving" positive carma on occasions when I provided solutions to other people's problems! :-[
You'll only be allowed to post here after having restored the tag.

Don't blame others: it's your site, so it's your responsibility to respect intelectual properties and licenses.
Well, I did restore the link.
I switched to the debug mode and found the error. It somehow didn't know how to sort the pictures in thumbnails.php any more. I restored the "Default sort order for files" from thumbnails config, saved, selected the option I needed and saved again. Voila! It's working again...

No it's not. You can compare the WHOIS! :P :P
I can't perform a compare, as I don't know your real name, and frankly: I don't care. If you want support, you have to meet the requirements. The only thing we ask for is the presevation of that tag. I'm not ready to argue about this, nor will I perform a whois lookup or similar.
