I hadn't seen this particular error and I asked a couple of people and my host and no one knew what the issue was. I run many coppermine galleries on the same server, but this was the only site with an issue. If anyone could help, that'd be great ;)

when searching this board? That's funny. I get 11 threads of search results (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=search2;search=%22Got%20error%2028%20from%20storage%20engine%22) when searching for "Got error 28 from storage engine", and all of those threads explain what you need to do: ask your webhost for support, as there is something wrong with your server, not with coppermine.
