Title: Moving photos
Post by: uglycars on September 09, 2008, 11:30:13 PM
Any way to make the moving/rearranging photos easier?

Example:

is it possible to make it so when you want to move/rearrange a photo within a certain album/category you get a full list of the images within that category/album you chose and then click and drag them into the new spot you want them?!!?

Possible if you code it.

If I could code it, I wouldn't ask about it..

You asked if it was possible. It would take a lot of work to accomplish this, so if you can't do it yourself you'll need to find someone you can pay to code it for you.

Ok...

Then how about an alternative...instead of using up/down arrows to move photos in a gallery with like 600-700 photos, how about having 2 drop down boxes and easily navigate to the photo.

Example-
top drop down is for top photo, bottom for the bottom photo, so you'd use the 2nd drop down if you wanted it below a certain photo and use the top for moving it above a certain photo.

makes for an easier image move.

Answer remains the same: possible if you code it!
