Ok, here's my problem. I have about 100 pictures that I uplaod via FTP to batch add. In the past this has always worked no problem. However, now, when I go to add them, maybe like 20 out of the 100 will add. The ONLY way I can get the others to add, is on the page I have to "right click/show picture" so the "OK" picture shows up for each images. The majority of the pics are just the infamous "red x" until I do the "show image" method.
As I go through this "show picture" routine, each picture is then added to the gallery. What gives? Is there something timing out that I can change? It has worked in the past, but i haven't added any pictures for a few months.

either your webhost has changed something on the server config or your files have changed. The number of pics that can be added in one "go" with batch-add greatly depends on server performance, file size, resolution etc., so there's no "foolproof" setting. Usually you don't have to use the right-click method, but you can just force-reload the page when getting a time-out.
Make sure you haven't ftp-uploaded to "userpics"!

Yeah, I haven't......they're in their own folder right under "albums". What should I ask the web host to check about this timemout? Maybe some apache setting?
oh, I'm sure they won't be changing settings for you - usually you're on a shared server when webhosted, with hundreds of other homepages on the same server. They may have had a performance issue and reduced the execution time a script is allowed to run.
I suggest you reduce the number of pics you batch-add in one go or (better still) reduce the pic size and resolution on your client (before uploading) - there are nice free utilities that will do this for you.

Well, that doesn't work either. Say I choose 20 of the pictures to add to the batch (note, none of hte pics is over 100K, they're all 800x600) then I'll still have a few 2-3 that won't take. If I drop it to 10.....I'll have maybe 1. ARGH
did you try reloading the page with [F5]?

Yes, and after about 5 refreshes it works..........and finally has them all. But now they're out of order and need to be in sequence, ARGH. Darn it! LOL
what do you mean by "out of order" please post a link to an album that appears out of order for you.
