Impossible to move 41601.jpg to albums/userpics/10001/ !

i have searched through this entire forum to correct the problem. i have tried everything that was suggested ,and i STILL cannot get anything to work.

i'm not good with php, and finding errors. so the debug mode really did no good for me.

any help is appreciated.

you say you have tried everything.

Please give details of your setup, and a link, a test account with upload permissions (not admin).

temp account info:
username: temp
password: userpass

i went through other posts and followed directions. and i couldnt get it to anything. i changed the upload file like one suggested, and that screwed it up even more.

dangit, i swear i gave permissions to the account to upload, and it's saying it doesn't have permission. i'm going to try to fix that.

That login didn't work.

Did you try 'SILLY_SAFE_MODE', as described in the docs?

And please give the details I asked for. Your server setup. and Your coppermine version.

i am not sure which server info to give to you? i will look it up.

i am 99% sure i have the 1.2 version. the newest non-beta version.

and i fixed that account, it should login. i'm just trying to figure out how to make it so you can upload from it.

and i tried the silly safe mode, but it wouldn't let me ftp that file with the changes. i tried doing it several times. but i will try again.

okay, that account can now upload. -edit- nevermind, it isn't allowing that user account to. UGH. i am so frustrated!! -edit-

just tried editing that file again, with no such luck. my ftp tells me "Requested action not taken (e.g., file or directory not found, no access)."
i am not sure why it is doing that now!

okay, the user account i made can now upload to the empty directory im trying to upload pictures to.

i also was able to add in the silly safe mode file, and it made everything worse, and i had to go back to the old file.

is there any other way i can upload pictures? or do i have to start all over again?

nvm, it works when i do the batch add.
i guess because the album was named @the lake. maybe the @ screwed it up?
