Title: SMF 2.0[beta 4] and CPG 1.4.19 bridging problem
Post by: villesa on October 05, 2008, 10:02:06 PM
Hello All

I tried to bridge smf and cpg. CPG works fine if bridge is not enabled, but once i enable it i get never ending login loop. Both are in same db and both are in sub  directories. This is my test smf and test cpg i want to get working before going to live site :)

So when i press cpg button in my smf, it directs me to cpg front page. then i click loging, i am directed to smf login. Then i enter loging details and it gives me smf front page. Then i press cpg button again, and i am not logged in. So my problem is that i cannot login to cpg if bridge is enabled. Someone here had same problem and that was fixed with using smf sub directory cookies or someting like that. I tried that but it didn't do anything :(

smf is in yourdomain.net/testi/yabbse
cpg is in yourdomain.net/testi/yabbse/cpg1419

Any help and tips how to fix this are most appriciated.

Thank you

Ville Sädevuo

I can provide test admin account to my test smf if needed.

Actually, the link to your gallery is http://xxonkforia.net/testi/cpg1419/
The path needs to be relative, not absolute. Use ../yabbse/

Sidenote: it's not a bright idea to use the application version in a folder name - instead of naming the folder "cpg1419" I suggest naming it "gallery" or similar - that will look much friendlier and version-independant.

I changed it to ../yabbse/ but it still wont work. CPG path i will change once it goes to production.

bridge settings.

Forum URL:      http://realitycheck.freeate.com/
BBS-configfile:    /home/wckr/domains/realitycheck.freeate.com/public_html

don't know cookie path because I can't get back in (have tried original coppermine username and pass, but doesn't let me in...even tried forum admin)

help would be really appreciated thank you

Update your gallery. If you still have the issue start your own thread.
