Hello,
I just reinstalled coppermine in a new folder with the hope of bridging it with my new website. After installing it, I imported the Albums folder from my other coppermine webite and updated the databse. But some thumbnails are showing while some are not showing.
Please take a look at the site here http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/index.php (http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/index.php)
I hope to get some help soon.
The pics are not there, or your server acts up: when going to one of the thumbs in question (http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/thumb_law4%7E0.jpg or http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/thumb_nnaji2.jpg), I get a "500 Internal Server Error". Ask your webhost what could be wrong. When entering a made-up URL (e.g. http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/does_not_exist.jpg), I get an internal server error as well, although a "404 not found" should appear. Looks like your server is mis-configured. As I said initially: ask your webhost for support - this is not related to coppermine, but to webserver setup.
Alternatively, try re-creating the missing thumbnails using the admin tools.
Hi Joachim, thanks for your reply. Please how can I re-create the missing thumbnails using the admin tools? I've never done that before. I checked and the files are there on the server.
Then, post a link to a picture that doesn't show the batch add tool but you are sure that's in the server, please.
Something like: http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/XXXXXXXX.jpg
I don't really understand what you mean.
Should I give you my admin login password and my ftp information so you can check it? I copied the albums fold exactly from this site http://lurrenzinc.com/photos (http://lurrenzinc.com/photos) and everything works well on the site. I don't know why this is happening at the new site. Apart from the albums folder, is there another folder I should've copied from the old website?
Please, post a link to a picture in your site. One that you have already upload to your server but you can't see the thumbnail. I'm clear?
Hi this is one example;
http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/normal_genevieve.jpg (http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/normal_genevieve.jpg)
The picture can be seen but the thumbnail isn't showing.
I meant some of the thumbnail. So, post a link to some of the thumbnails. For example, the one you choose it's http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/normal_genevieve.jpg (http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/normal_genevieve.jpg) but if you try to enter to http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/thumb_genevieve.jpg (http://nollywoodgossip.lurrenzinc.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/thumb_genevieve.jpg).
Post a link to one of the thumbnail, please
fabri, sorry to butt in, but this doesn't seem to be a relevant discussion: the server returns a "500 internal server error" where it should return a "404 not found error". This is not related to coppermine, but entirely to webserver setup. It's something onuzu has to figure out with the help of his webhost. There's nothing we could do to help in this case.

RTFM (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_tools) instead of being lazy.

Don't be, I'm here to learn! So, thanks! ;) I though the error 500 was temporary and when the user go into that link will see the 404. Anyway,
@onuzu: E-mail your webhost and ask for support. After having solved the problem, search in the docs "Admin Tools (Resize Pictures)" and you will find the answer to your problem.
