Hi!
I am having an issue using the "publish for web" function to my coppermine gallery (version 1.4.19). I added the .reg file (downloaded via IE), then selected the jpg-files on my harddrive to upload, clicked "publish for web" and selected my coppermine gallery. I then got to the login-part, where you type in the username and password to be able to upload the files via publish for web. I entered the correct admin username and password, but just got returned to the loginform. I tried typing in a wrong username and password, but then got an error message saying its the wrong username and password, obviously. When i try uploading files directly on the coppermine gallery website there is no problem.
Why am i being returned to the loginform when i AM typing in the correct username and password?
Additional info: I tried using Mehdi's "bridge" (hack) between Joomla and Coppermine but noticed AFTER i had done so, that Mehdi's hack doesnt support xp_publish, so i removed the bridge again. Might this have something to do with it? (The old "functions.inc.php" and "albmgr.php" files have been restored, so there are no problems with the files, but i suspect Mehdi's hack to have done something irreversible to the user-stuff?)

In advance; Thank you for the help :)
(Accidentally put this topic as "solved" for a few hours today. It's NOT solved if anyone should wonder :) )

Hint: number of file/uri upload fields! Debug_mode on!
Did exactly as the upload troubleshoot section said, but with no sucess. Still being returned to the loginform when trying to use xp_publish.
Is this a problem you've heard about before, Joachim? Should this have solved the problem?
Make sure you are logged into your gallery using IE before using the publisher.

Hmm. That actually did it. Not that a loginscreen in the "publish to web" even makes sence if you cant use it to log in. (Didnt even get the loginscreen after i logged inn via. internet explorer).
Would be much more understandable for the users if the loginscreen was replaced by a screen that informed the users to log in their user directly at the coppermine gallery, and then try the publish to web again.
Anyways, im gratefull for the help i got :)
