I'm trying to create my site and now am unable to log in. I get a message "Couldn't Log In. Try again". I've tried different browsers--Firefox and IE--and a different computer. I've cleared my cookies. I've issued a new password. When I first uploaded and did initial work on Coopermine, I got in with no problem. Now I'm blocked. Something wrong with the install or is it something else? Thanks for the help.
Here's the site: www.klenck.com/cpg1419/cpg1419
You may have made too many incorrect attempts to log in and the system has temporarily locked you out. You may have caps or numlock on or had it on when you failed to login etc.
Try later and if you still (10 mins is the default) and if you still cannot log in then come back and we can show you how to reset your password.
Thanks, but . . .
I have tried on three different dates. I also checked caps and number lock and also just copied the password and pasted it in, too, so none of those are the problem.
Also, I did have a new password issued and it won't let me log in with the new one either.
Try using adminpass.php as mentioned in this thread.

Download the file attached to Sami's post and follow the instructions making sure to delete adminpass.php when you are finished.
I followed that link and tried this:
Quoteyes there is ...
you should unpack the attachment to the root of gallery and execute adminpass.php by browser
this file will try to change username and passwoord of first user of your gallery (user_id = 1) and then will give you new username and password
Please make sure to DELETE this file after account creation
Well, I'm willing to show my ignorance because I've been searching for "adminpass.php" for an hour and a half and cannot find it. I can't find "gallery". I've looked in "include". What am I missing?
Adminpass.php is attached to Sami's post in that thread I linked to. It is in blue called adminpass.php and downloaded 422 times.
Just copy it to wherever your gallery is located (in your case www.klenck.com/cpg1419) and then browse to www.klenck.com/cpg1419/adminpass.php
That's it. Nice and simple.
Thanks! That took care of it.
Thanks for resolving your thread.
Remember to delete that file or people can easilly reset your password.
