Title: [Solved]: Getting rid of the butterflies ...
Post by: harrispr on February 10, 2009, 07:55:08 PM
all of my galleries are automatically appending the butterflies at the bottom right of all my photos.  I can't seem to find the setting to get rid of this.  here is a link to my gallery.  http://chistepper.com/cpg1419/index.php.

Thanks in advance.

Upgrade to 1.4.20 first.

Did you install a watermark plugin recently?

Not at all.  I installed the theme. Blackbirch.  That was when I originally created the gallery. The butterflies have always been there.  Just don't want them and can't figure how to turn them off.

Looks to be a watermark of some sort. Blackbirch theme does not do that by itself so it must be a watermark plugin or mod of some kind. Did you try removing some pictures and uploading them again to see if the butterflies return?

While you were posting Hein I was testing something. All the original pictures has already added the buterfly. So, it's not posible to re-generate them (I'm sure that you -harrispr- was going to ask it for..). Upload an original one again. If the buterfly doesn't appear again problem solved, but you will have to upload all over again.

I would do the next: Replace some of the original pictures and re-generate it. It the buterfly doesn't shows, just replace all your pics and re-generate al of them. ;)

::)  Okay so I feel kinda silly here.  It is indeed the program I was using to resize some of the images before doing a batch upload. I must have inadvertently toggled on the option to include the watermark.  I did a test with some other photos and all went well.

Thanks for your help.

Don't worry! We all make silly mistakes... But, double check the next time before posting... You'll save time ;)

Thanks for coming back and solve the topic, I was thinking what the h*** could be happening here?... :)
