Title: No image to display
Post by: dbk on February 12, 2009, 02:23:10 AM
Hello.  I am the owner and one of two administrators of the below gallery.  Tonight I attempted a search for a particular image "Aloha" (checking filename is required).  The search brought up several thumbnails, but clicking on any of them gets me a "No image to display" prompt.  I then tried many file names, and this happened every time.  However, if I just scroll through my gallery, the full sized pix are under the thumbnail.  I have confirmed with the other Administrator of the Gallery that clicking on the thumbnail takes him to the full-fized pix.  There are no passwords on the albums.  I have run spam and virus scans and rebooted the computer.  I have also created a logon for you "test/test".  Thank you.

I have just heard from several members of my group that the gallery is working fine for them.  I even gave my sign-on to someone and it worked fine for that person.  I guess that means it's a glitch on my computer.  Since I have already done virus and spam scans and rebooted, can you suggest anything else I might do?  Thank you.

Sorry, I didn't think anyone would use logon since you told me what to do.  I need to inject caffeine and start the updating after.  I will shout out if I need help or it doesn't work.  Perplexing that only I am getting error; other Admin and registered users have no problems.

That's what I thought. Update and post again if the issue still persist. ;)

I am on holiday and am stressed just reading the update instructions.  I can't even find in your manual how to do a "dump".  I will need to wait until next week when I can have an IT person from my work help me with this.  There is a reason I am dbk.  Thank you.

There is no need to wait for an IT person, you can Google it. Anyways, It's up to you.

I will work on this later today.  Do I need to leave the password activated for you?  BTW, can other posters see my link and password?  Thank you.

Yes, all the visitors of the forum are able to see this topic. No one can do any harm to your gallery anyways.

Please, stop posting! Like I said: "Update, then post again."

Try another browser. Review pseudo-security apps like notorious "Norton Internet Security" and temporarily disable filtering applied by that (or similar) apps. We can hardly help you in sanitizing or setting up your desktop PC.

I did not ask you to sanitize my computer.  I thought it was something I needed to fix in Coppermine.  I have been told to update, so I will do that as well.  Thank you.
