Title: phpbb 3 to coppermine, coppermine min. version
Post by: macmiller on February 13, 2009, 05:39:05 PM
I read through the post here about using the new bridge to bridge coppermine to phpbb 3.0

http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,53678.0.html (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,53678.0.html)

I am currently using an out of date bridge to bridge the two and it has been working fine, but would like to upgrade.

One question I have just before I get started, is there a min. version of coppermine required for the bridge file to work?

I am currently on phpbb 3.0.2 and coppermine 1.4.16

thx in advance.....

Not to my knowledge. You should always run the latest version anyway.

thanks for the quick reply.  Since I am installing this new bridge over an existing bridge, I wanted to just do the minimum and update the bridge and test it first before installing the new version of coppermine.  I will give it a go!

thanks again.

You need to upgrade anyway for security reasons. Running cpg1.4.16 simply is not an option if you prefer not to get hacked.
