Title: template.php instead of template.html?

I need to do some php includes in template file, so I'd like to know if I can safely rename template.html in template.php

yeah, my bad, I found that just 1 minute after I wrote...
I did the includes in theme.php, even if it seems that the left menù has some problem, .css mess, I think http://www.flapane.com/gallery/

I can't still include some things as left menu, as you can see in that link I pasted the layout gets weird.
Should I open a new thread about how to include a left menu and mark as solved this one?
