KIOSKMODE is either TRUE or FALSE. By default, KIOSKMODE is FALSE. When KIOSKMODE is set to TRUE, the plug-in does not include its pop-up menu in the movie controller and does not allow drag and drop to save the movie.
Which plugin are you refering to?
i am not referring to a plugin it was just the term used in the quicktime description..
what i want to do is add kioskmode to the .mov within coppermine, kioskmode is set within the .mov parameters..

OK, so you need to add a parameter whenever a mov file is being embedded into the output (and only then). To accomplish this, edit themes/yourtheme/theme.php with a plain text editor. You need to edit function theme_html_picture(). If that function definition exists in your custom theme, edit as suggested below. If it doesn't exist, copy// Displays a picture

nibbler just a thought would commenting out the following have anything to do with it? I did this to stop the full url being displayed in the info..

I don't get that error message when using the theme you provided, as the theme you attached doesn't contain the code I told you to insert. Are you expecting to be spoon-fed? I pasted the code in according to my instructions, and surprisingly there's still no error message. Can't tell for sure though if the "kioskmode" thingy works, as I don't have mov files in my testbed.
Attaching the theme with my suggested changes added in. Basically, only the file theme.php has changed - replace your copy with mine.

I had to remove the code as I could not leave a non-working gallery.. i gave you the theme as it was given to me.
I take offence to the "spoon fed" implication I am not a coder nor coppermine expert, thats why I posted for help on this forum.

Whilst coppermine is one of the best galleries around, there are lots of people like myself that simply don't understand coding etc need help, follow help and still have problems, we are not idiots I am very highly qualified in my field of expertise yet I don't insult those who are not! I help them and nurture them, encourage them , the end result may take a while but these people leave with a good feeling of achievement. You left a bad feeling in my stomach..
