Title: [Solved]: Cannot deploy bridgemgr.php
Post by: bozz282 on March 19, 2009, 04:24:21 PM
I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine

Following Joachim's instructions from my post about Coppermine and phBB3 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,58600.0.html), I am trying to disable the bridge between Coppermine and my old install of phBB2. I cannot deploy the bridgemgr.php because I cannot log in when prompted. I am 99% sure I have the log in details correct as I use the same ones to log in as admin all the time. Now I am locked out and having to wait 5600 seconds until I can try again. Here are my details (completed as fully as I have been able to)

Coppermine install: http://v8hotstox.com/forum/gallery/
Forum install: http://mysite.tld/my_forum_folder/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.9
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.22
Test user account: test1 / testaccount

BridgeManager settings: I have no idea
Forum URL:  http://www.v8hotstox.com/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/ (I hope I have that right)
Use post-based groups?:  0 (I don't know what this means)
Cookie name/preifx (if applicable) cpg143

I also enabled debug mode and here is what was displayed :

Coppermine version: cpg1.4.9
Then upgrade. Most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.21.

Hi Joachim,

OK, I did as you prompted and upgraded to the latest version. Then, refering back to your instructions on moving my coppermine to another folder :

I took coppermine offline
Then I tried again to deploy bridgemgr.php and it came up with the screen that says 'Gallery is currently offline - check back soon'

So, I took coppermine back online and tried bridgemgr.php again and 'You supplied the wrong credentials. You will have to supply the admin account data of the standalone version (usually the account you set up during Coppermine install).'

Now I'm stuck

I just wondered, is there any way of installing a fresh coppermine and transferring my albums to that ?

Yes, but that's even more complicated. Not an option for you.

Retrieve the standalone admin account password. The board is full of threads that explain how to accomplish this. Use the search!

Hi Joachim,

I managed to bridge Coppermine and phBB3 - thank you but, now I can not log in to my admin account - only as a normal user and therefore cannot access any configuration settings in Coppermine.

Hi Joachim

I finally got it all done. The cookies were messing things up but by searching the site for the answers I was able to solve the problems (logging in to admin mode)

I just wanted to say thank you for your help. Just by searching the forums. it is very obvious that you and the rest of the support team have to answer the same questions day in day out. I now understand how you might grow tired of it. But, hang in there, you helped me a lot and countless others and I for one appreciate it.
