Title: Large Category Thumbnails
Post by: mihirc on April 14, 2009, 01:08:33 PM
Hello All,

Just registered.

I am working on an image gallery for a wildlife tourism company. It is currently on a dev server, but I am just playing around with Coppermine.

I want to have a 250px width thumbnail of one of the albums to show up on the category page.

here is the link -> www.foliageoutdoors.thoughtfulviewfinder.com/gallery (http://www.foliageoutdoors.thoughtfulviewfinder.com/gallery)

I am attaching a small screenshot, of what I want to achieve.

Regards,
Mihir Chhatre.

However, album thumbails use the "regukar" thumbnail files and only resize them using HTML atrributes for the <img>-tag. That's why a 250 pixel albumn thumbail will look distored if your regular thumbails are only 100 pixels wide.
I suggest reviewing the idea to use such large album thumbails. If you need bigger images on theindex pages, take a look at the miniCms (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,15543.html) plugin.
