Post by: Antonietta on July 08, 2009, 06:21:03 PM
Hello everyone,

I'm just starting with a personal photoalbum on the internet.
I can generate wordpress themes my one wordpress themes, and I'm looking for someone that
can convert wordpress themes for me so that I can use those themes for my photoalbum.
I tryed to do so myself, but so far I wasn't succesfull.

Perhaps we can work together {me making the wp themes and you converting them for use in coppermine}
and provide other coppermine users with fresh new themes for there websites.

Is anyone interested? Please let me now!

Kind regards Antonietta.

Did you read Converting a WordPress theme to Coppermine (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,38508.0.html)? I suggest trying for yourself - if you can make Wordpress themes, you should be able to create Coppermine themes as well. I strongly doubt that you will find someone who will be ready to convert your Wordpress themes for free: there is a myriad of Wordpress themes available: skilled theme converters have a whole lot to pick from - why should they convert yours? I suggest at least to show some of your previous Wordpress themes if you want to attract the attention of colaborators, i.e. post some links.

I have deleted your other, unrelated reply to the sticky thread where you posted the identical thing as above. We're not fond of double-posting!

Hello There,

It was my intention to make the wordpress themes for free, so that everyone could use them.
It was certainly not my idea to upsett anyone.

I did try to convert the themes, but it didn't work.
I thought, if someone has some spare time, we could works somethong out.
FOR FREE.

And help other members to get frsh new themes, but never mind.
Again I'm sorry if I effended you in any way.

Kind regards Antonietta.

PS. If you want to see some themes that I generated just let me now
and I will post some.

In my opinion that's what I did: I asked you to post links to themes that you have done so far, or does

Please don't start new threads yet. Just posting reference to the wordpress themes in question as a reply to this thread should do the trick if you ask me.

Hello Everyone,

Here are some WP themes I just generated.
Feel free to use them and convert them for your coppermine album.

It would be great when you put a link back when yoy do convert the themes
so that others can use the themes to.

Live demo's off the themes:  www.boomerpup.nl/demo (http://www.boomerpup.nl/demo)

This is just my second post in a forum, so I hope all goes well.

Merged the existing thread with the new one (that you started although I said you should stick to this thread).
How should any interessted parties convert the themes if you don't provide a link to download the theme files? Just looking at the output hardly is enough. I'm getting the impression that you're trying to play games only... >:(

Sure. Hotlinked rar files. You're deliberately being difficult on purpose, aren't you? Why do you use rar archives - that's a silly and exotic archive format? I have downloaded and un-RARed them and am attaching them to my posting as zip archive.

Why in havens name are you being so difficult to my.
I almost always zip my files like that.

I what do you mean with hotlinked rar files??

Can you please expane what it that I'm doing so wrong?
I just wanted to help out you guys with some new themes to convert.

Whatever. I had a quick glimpse at the output of the A1 theme, but the nesting of containers is not obvious to me, mainly because of missing indentation. Personally, I won't look into this in any more detail, as the theme is lacking structure imo.
Anyway, if others don't feel that way, I can't see any reason why those themes should not be converted if someone should find them usefull.
