Title: Custom theme not working after upgrade to 1.4.25
Post by: MGP on August 06, 2009, 09:58:44 PM
Months ago, created custom theme by following instructions - worked great. Just upgraded to latest version of CPG and I seem to having problems with theme (I followed the upgrade instructions to the letter, or I thought). How can I go about finding what the discrepancies are between upgraded sample theme and my existing custom one. Obviously not very familiar with the process and I was hoping not to have to go through it line-by-line. Any direction you can give is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Zip your custom theme folder and attach the zip to your reply.

Not sure that this is a theme problem.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Maybe the wrong forest....because the path might have not been clearly marked.

Non-image pages (login, search) show ok, with one caveat......

<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.19 (stable)-->

So in my humble opinion the upgrade needs to be checked.

@ MGP you need to run update and then versioncheck from Admin Tools. Fix/replace/upgrade
the files that show to be not current.

Then check to see on the Config - Album list view menu what you have in the field: "The content of the main page"

If it is empty then add something like....

breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2

Thanks so much for the info/direction. Turns out it was not a theme problem. I checked my upgrade and ran the version comparrison - found that I misunderstood the upgrade directions in one area. I have corrected my errors and galleries seem fine now.
I really appreciate your time & help!
