Title: Problem with minCMS add on installation
Post by: rooneyefc on May 18, 2004, 03:15:35 PM
Hi

When I try installing the minCMS I keep getting an error message.

The steps I were given to install it are..

INSTALL
-------
1) Unzip or upload the contents of the zip file in the same directory as your
Coppermine install

2) Create the cms table in the same database as you are using for Coppermine
using the SQL given in cms.sql

3) Login to your coppermine install and point your browser to cms_admin.php

1. Simple Enough, i tried several different locations just to make sure that wasnt my problem.
2. I gathered it meant go onto phpmyadmin, select the coppermine database and run the sql queries given in the cms.sql file. But I could be wrong...
3. I then logged in to my coppermine install, but then when I put in the address bar...

http://www.mywebsite.com/cpg1.2.1/cpg1.2.1_standalone/minCMS/cms_admin.php

I get the error

Warning: main(include/init.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cm4ever/public_html/cpg1.2.1/cpg1.2.1_standalone/minCMS/cms_admin.php on line 16

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'include/init.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/cm4ever/public_html/cpg1.2.1/cpg1.2.1_standalone/minCMS/cms_admin.php on line 16

Can anyone help?, Thanks in adance  :)

You did the first step wrong you are supposed to upload the contents of the zip file in the same dir as the Coppermine - so done properly there will NOT be a miniCMS directory inside the Coppermine directory

Is it possible to use this version of "miniCMS" on 1.3.3 ?
If not, is there another version?

Quote from: Tarique SaniWhat I am making is simple.

Allows admin to add / edit / delete pages.  The Editor is wysiwyg HTMLarea.

I will be uploading it today or tommorow....
That sounds great...  :)

Has someone posted this mod yet?
