Post by: tomaskukucka on December 05, 2009, 07:12:53 PM
Dear forum friends,

I and one of my friends are unable to install cpg1.4.25 into our Joomla 1.5. It seems that we meet all the requirements but when we install it it shows following info:

JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Don't you happen to know why this is happening?

Thank you very much

What are you doing? Coppermine does not install into Joomla. It's it's own software.

...and the error messages you posted come from Joomla, not Coppermine.
As Nibbler said: Coppermine is not a Joomla module, you're probably looking for something else. If you think that we're wrong do as suggested per board rules and post a link to your gallery for a start.

Have you ever thought about creating a component for Joomla? That would be amazing  8)

There are bridges out there if you search. ;)

As for being a component for any cms that is not the direction we want to go so the answer is no.

As this thread is leading nowhere and the original poster has not responded even though he has been online since I will lock this thread.
