Is it alright to create a custom thumb_nopic instead of using the one that comes with Coppermine?
Sure, go ahead. Who should keep you from doing that, and why?
We'd apprciate it though if you respected board rules in the future: posting a link to your gallery in each thread is mandatory.
okie dokie thanks for answering my question.
I thought we only needed to post links to our galleries if we were asking for support, Im sorry that I misundertood the rules.
To answer your question I just thought I would make a custom one that better fits my gallery's custom theme.

That's right. But this
is the support board. You have asked a question. Subsequently, you have asked for
support, as that's the definition of support: you ask questions that (hopefully) get answered. That's why you need to post the link. Anyway, you posted it now, which is good.

The existing one http://chrispine.fantorium.com/gallery/images/thumb_nopic.jpg is still the default one that comes with coppermine as far as I can see.
