That the error message I get when I try to upload a photo how do i fix?

You are using 1.3beta4, which is not supported.  Remove the software and the tables it created in the database.  Then download 1.2.1 and install it.

under directory "albums" check to see if there is a directory called "edit" If not, make one and CHMOD it to 0777.
