How to translate this case:
'You don\'t have permission to access this page.'
The translation for the text in question is: 'Você não tem permissão para acessar esta página.'
When I make a specific translation ignoring the "\" shows error on page and does not load the page properly. When I replace the text for the English language, the page works.
How to translate the text properly? How to replace without showing the error?

Thanks

You don't need " \' " in your Portuguese translation.
This I understand. But error occurs, for some reason. Is the same as the translation of this line below.
'Couldn\'t install plugin \'%s\'';
I tried several times and failed. back the original text and the page back up and running.
I could not find the language file to change the menu, the word files and information. I'm using the theme curve.
Zip your (partial) translation and attach it to your posting to enable us to see your actual issue.

I translated some terms like image and file for word Matrícula, because of how I want people to view the portal. The second fix will have the right words to let you publish.
Not related to your issue: the language file isn't encoded in UTF-8 and there are HTML entities all over the file. Have you read the translation docs (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm)?
Unfortunately your attached file doesn't contain the completely translated strings you have trouble with:
Quote$lang_errors['perm_denied'] = 'Você don\'t tem permissão para realizar esta operação.';
Hi
Whre i find the Portuguese translation (file)?
Tks
We don't have one yet. The only partial translation is attached to the posting from ddoc9942 above - use it if you know your way around. If you can't use it, start your translation, doing as suggested in http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm
ddoc9942 appears to have performed a translation word by word and not sentence by sentence, as there are English words shining through in his translation that look sort-of "misplaced" to me. I don't speak Portuguese, so I'm not an expert, but from what I know from French and Spanish (which are the roman languages that I'm familiar with except Latin) the order of words in a sentence differ from English to Portuguese. This being said, the translation provide by ddoc9942 can only serve as a base for a future translation. We appreciate the effort of course, but warn everybody to actually use this Brazilian-Portuguese language file without closely lookig at it.
I currently don't have SVN write access at the computer I'm typing this at, so I'm attaching a modified brazilian portuguese language file where I have corrected some of the issues that André already has reported.
I have the file form ddoc9942 im my host and looks works fine
Your report would be much more helpfull if you respected Board rules / Forum policies: Post Links (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,55415.msg270616.html#msg270616).
Is the translation valid? If so, we'll add it to the svn (and to the next release of cpg1.5.x).
The file that ddoc9942 has contributed is not valid as far as I can tell, but the one that I have attached is valid as far as functionality is concerned: it doesn't break the gallery, so it can be added as an incomplete translation to the SVN as suggested in http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/dev_files.htm#dev_files_adding_language. Please go ahead and commit if you can.
Added Brazilian language file in r7711.

Sorry :'( here i find the file?
Tks for help
Sorry, I'm a newbie and didn't understand very well..
Is there any started file for vs 1.5 to download so I can continue translating? Is anyone doing that already?
Can I use this file as default and enable even being incomplete?
Thanks.
This explains it all - http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm
Please take time to read them fully. The latest version of the language files can be downloaded from the svn repository - http://coppermine.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/coppermine/trunk/cpg1.5.x/lang/
If it is there then it has been started. If not then please always submit your work every time you stop as a zip attached to the relavent thread. A dev will then add it to the svn and check it for functionality. Before you start work again always download the latest version from the svn and work with that. This is just in case anyone has done any work on it since your last edit.
We look forward to your contribution.
Im translating the brazilian_portuguese to portuguese_from_portugal.

Just add a new reply (with your contribution as attachment) to http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,44308.0.html or start a new topic to http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/board,117.0.html
In fact you should read http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm first - that help page contains all information you need to know to start translating.
