Here's my first attempt at a theme contribution. It's called curve_red2black
Demo here on my test site, http://cctestsite.info/gallery/?theme=curve_red2black
Installation: Unzip curve_red2black.zip and copy the complete folder curve_red2black to your Coppermine themes folder.
Hope you like.
Moving to theme contribution board.
Thanks Andre. ;)
How does one go about getting this put on the demo site? Or does it have to meet certain standards before being included?
I'll add it soon, after a short test.
Very nice
Updated the package in the initial post (removed Thumbs.db file and renamed package).
It's now also available at our demo (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg15x/?theme=curve_red2black) and the download section at sourceforge.net (http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/Themes/1.5.x/cpg1.5.x_theme_curve_red2black_v1.0.zip/download).

Cheers Andre. "Thumbs.db file"? did I leave something in that I shouldn't have? I can't see that file in the folder on my PC. ??? I realised after I posted the, that I should have renamed to match the others. Thanks for doing this for me. ;)
OT: Windows (at least XP by default) creates that file to store previews of pictures. You can see it if you enable displaying hidden files.
I am using this theme with a little bit of modification. However I am lacking the knowledge to figure out how to change the font colors. You can see a couple of eamples in the attached picture.
Any suggestions?

I recommend Firebug to find out such things.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have it but I am not sure how to use it or find the right file to change.
When I visit your gallery, in the header I see that code
Quote<style type="text/css">
body {
background-image: url(/website%20background.jpg);
}
body,td,th {
color: #000;
}
</style>
yes, I see that but if I want to change that color, how do I knw where to change it at?
Thanks!
You have added those lines in http://www.sassylilsketches.com/photos/themes/curve_red2black/template.html

Would you share with us your theme? I like it a lot :)
lurkalot, your test site shows the 'Random Images' section with moving / sliding images. How can I add this? I am also using a curve red2black theme (with some modifications).

I take it you mean the slider at the top of my gallery page? If so it's this plugin that I'm using http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,57388.0.html
That plugin also uses the Enlargeit plugin, which you have to install if you want the slider to use it. you can find the elargeit plugin here, http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,57424.0.html
Hope this helps.
Yea thats what I meant. Great it works!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
I am new to this so sorry if this was obvious. Thanks for your help
Forgot to say, that although the slider plugin also uses the Enlargeit plugin, you might want to un-check the following boxes in the Enlargeit config. Enable for, administrators, registered users, guests
That is if you don't want to use Enlargeit on the rest of your gallery.
If you want to use Enlargeit through out your gallery, then leave as is.
Enjoy. ;)
