Title: PDF Thumbnails Required
Post by: waycik on December 10, 2010, 04:36:07 PM
I'm looking for someone who can create a plugin that will show thumbnails of pdf files (or get the plugin that is supposed to do that to work). It would be nice if other document types, such as Word documents, would also be thumbnailed, but this is not essential.

Imagemagick and ghostscript are both installed on the server as I have previously been able to get pdf thumbnails to work on an installation of Gallery2. For that, I specifically asked the host to install ghostscript, and they did.

I'm not sure what this is worth, but I'll say my budget is around $100 or so. Please let me know what it is worth to you.

I have a couple other things that I would pay someone to do AFTER this is accomplished: theme modification and implementing ads. If someone is able to help me with the pdf thumbnails, they can have first dibs at the other two items.

The gallery is being set up at http://www.mathshare.com.

Agreed. This has been solved and very well, I might add. Thanks.
