Title: How can you hide sub-categories on the root menu?
Post by: SeanHayesFansite on December 28, 2010, 06:23:51 AM
Here is my gallery : SeanHayesFansite.com/Gallery

As you can see, I have MAIN categories (Public appearances, broadway, etc.) , and underneath It shows the years (1998-2010). Basically, I want my website front page to display ONLY the MAIN categories, and not the years. Basically, I want it so that the index displays main categories, then you would click on a main categories which would lead you to YEARS, then click a year to lead you to the actual albums.

Basically, I want to get rid of the "Years" sub-categories from the front page.

Any suggestions?

Config / Album list view /  Show first level album thumbnails in categories.  (unchecking this box might help)

or try  Config / Album list view / Number of levels of categories to display.
