Is anyone working with Norwegian translation? If not... is it difficult for me to do it?
I don't know if someone works on the nowegian translation, but you're welcome to do it.
Please have a look to the translation guide in the doc http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm
You can post a partial translation if you want, as explain in the doc
Thank you all for a nice and well functional gallery. :)
I want to contribute with some Norwegian translation.
Please tell me if I do this in a wrong moderation or posting at wrong thread.

This file is not to translate. For the docs, please follow the steps as explained in the doc here http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm#translation_documentation (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/translation.htm#translation_documentation)
Thank you for the language file translation. Someone from the dev team will have a look before adding to the SVN
Great, thanks for response. :)
I have tested online and by wampserver.
Can`t find somthing wrong so far. Of course there is not a good idea doing selftesting.
I`m continueing translating but wait for the responce before adding something, to avoid
to much work for the (dev-team ?).
To bidrago: Thats great if you can look at the norwegian word and grammar.
Ronny.

Your contribution looks good at a first glance. I'll perform some minor changes and add the file to the svn repository now.
I wonder why you added
arrays to
$lang_translation_info. Did you used the English language file as translation base?
Added (partial?) Norwegian language file in svn revision 8161. Thanks for your contribution.
Started translation in dec.2010 for use in my own gallery.
Used first the Danish and then the from Swedish translation.
I was then not thinking to send in translation.
After uppgrading in jan, 2011 I began from start with the english base,
because the captchafunction not run properly.
I use the crimson and do a litle clipping and pasteing.
After a while I want to share my working.
I hope you can use it.
Sorry for (late answer) I just read your adding.

What is svn repository?

Roha: How do I install it? Just unpacking to the gallery?
All language files resides in the folder lang/. Probably you have to enable newly added languages in the language manager.
Doesn't the link work? Trying to find the language that you added
the webSVN interface provided by sourceforge.net:

Ronny.
I'm using the language for my gallery now, I see some words are wrong :) F.ex "Srartsiden" and some grammar error...
I will have a look at it after 24. February, have to read for my exam first :)
Here is the configuration file.
Ronny
Here is the language file vers.2 .
Startsiden changed to " Hjem" Home in english.
Some grammar changed.
Some other words changed.
Ronny
Updated Norwegian language file in svn revision 8190.
I haven't added the Norwegian docs folder yet (configuration.html).

Here is the configuration file.
Ronny
Where do I put this file?
You have to create a new folder 'no' (or copy and rename and existing folder) in the docs folder and replace that file.

I didn't have a 'no' folder in Docs directory. Now I have /Docs/no and it only contains this configuration.html
Copy and replace the English files in the no folder, but not the configuration-file.
You can then copy the translated docs-file in my first adding, but not the lang-file of`course.
Then you get a mix of English and Norwegian language in your help files.
I have for my own galery put in the message " not translated yet " in the English files.
I do this only because the gallery have 3 persons whith Admin rights only speaking Norwegian.
I wil translate more of the docs files. But it take a lot of time.
Ronny.
Here is the docs-files
admin_menu.htm
admin-tools.htm
users.htm
watermarking.htm
