Title: So I guess I blew it up? Trouble after Update / Rollback did not cure ...
Post by: inovative on May 30, 2011, 05:03:17 PM
My URLs:

This one has an Error in Slideshow Config [prob not a CopperMine issue?]:
http://www.wereinnovative.com

Then the Gallery ... lost ALL it's theme look, it seems:
http://www.wereinnovative.com/gallery/

Same here:
http://www.wereinnovative.com/gallery/index.php?cat=2

Same here:
http://www.wereinnovative.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=2

and here's the big problem child:
http://www.wereinnovative.com/gallery/login.php?force_login=1&referer=displayimage.php%3Falbum%3D2%26pid%3D39

Never had a "Force Login" here before and don't want it.  This is a commercial site that I need to allow ALL visitors access to view the pics.

Help?

TOM

No, you probably did not update your custom theme properly and / or upgrade the right way.

   1) Upgrade to cpg 1.5.12 - read the docs first
   2) Use: http://www.wereinnovative.com/gallery/index.php?theme=curve to access your Admin and Config pages
   3) Read the docs about upgrading, configuring and plugins
   4) Upgrade your theme - make sure the files are located in the right folders / locations

It's getting better now!  Somehow now I get:

The PHP setting register_globals is enabled on your server, which is a bad idea in terms of security. It's strongly recommended to turn it off.

How do I do that?  [Sorry for my ignorance ... stumbled into a can of worms.]

Depending on your web hosting package you can or cannot change that. If you can, you maybe have a web interface or maybe you even can edit your php.ini file. Please use Google if you still don't know how to change that PHP setting (which is not related to Coppermine).
