I have an album for registered users only, I want to display an icon for all visitors to my site to see, which clearly statesregistered users only. I have set the option to yes in "Show private album Icon to unlogged user" However when I log out the album disapears, just showing 4 albums instead of Five.
Any ideas anyone please ???
link and test account (non-admin) please.

Thanks for the replies guys, here is the link to my site http://www.freebys-tavern.co.uk if you still need a test account, please let me know.
I have had a nose around the cvs but I am a newbie and could not find the files i need to download, but I did find this :
$Id: CHANGELOG,v 1.18 2004/06/25 08:10:26 gaugau Exp $
Added option of turning on OR off the showing of "Private" Icon to unlogged / unprivileged user, Tarique
I think he should download the whole thing. Partial downloading could cause errors. The file that shows user albums is index.php though. He can try download that and functions.inc.php

Fixed in CVS
please elaborate - did you fix this just now?
I thought that had fixed this in Jan this year.... OR are you talking about the mishap just before the 1.3 release?
I fixed this in CVS: revision 1.5 fixes user albums showing "nopic.jpg" only, 1.7 fixes show private album icon (line 294)

Hi, Sorry about this but could someone please give me a link to download the full cvs, so I can sort this out. I have looked every where, ???
You have to check out a CVS repository you don't download it via a link.....

In which case your version numbers are completely wrong - unless you are talking about the Stable module - which I asked about. If it is in Stable module, is it committed in the devel module as well - which version?
Like I said - Complete answers in the first place at least for fellow developers will go a long way in improving work flow...
Anyway - I have now looked into the CVS comments and know what you are talking about but I am sure freeby is still totally clueless as to what happened.
I have the exact problem as the poster:
I turned "Show private Album Icon to unlogged user" to YES and "Users can have private albums" to YES. However, when I change one of the album to be viewed by "Registered Users Only", unlogged users will not be able to see the Private Album Icon. There's simply nothing under that category. It doesn't applear in album and photo count either.
I checked out the CVS website but have no idea what it's talking about. Can someone shed some light? Thanks.
O, I figured out what the CVS thing is all about. I've downloaded the latest stable versions of index.php and functions.inc.php. and it's working for me now. Thanks.
You should just have upgraded to version 1.3.1, which has all these files.
I have upgraded to 1.3.1 and am having the same problem. any suggestions?
post a link and test user account (non-admin). Describe your problem in detail, there have been so many postings on this thread already - let's make sure we understand what your problem actually is.
